A Pantry Move-In!

The befores are fun for this project because it was a blank canvas… and a bunch of boxes and empty shelves. We did a cross-town move and were able to set up the pantry in this walk-in pantry.

We used clear bins to make the most of the deep shelves without losing items in the process. Bins act as drawers in deep spaces like these. We used can risers to keep all the cans visible and lazy susans to best use all those corners.

The key to large spaces like this is to make things accessible. Otherwise a lot of items get lost and end up being wasted. We also labeled as much as we could to help this family find and use what they have with ease. Keeping all the fruit cups in one spot lets them easily know if they need to grab more at the grocery.

What are your problem areas in your pantry?
