Understanding and Compassion

I still have my baby blanket.

And I may never get rid of it. I slept with it at least until middle school when my parents told me they were going to get rid of it. My memory is foggy but I like to think I hid it in my closet so they wouldn’t find it. And then it went with me to college.

So as we go through your belongings and we come across an item that you just can’t bear to part with, I understand. I’ll ask questions to help you decide if you are on the fence but I won’t make you get rid of your precious baby blanket if you want to keep it.

That is just one reason why working side-by-side with my clients is so important to me. Only you know what is sentimental and what is not.
