An entire closet can feel overwhelming. Breaking it down into smaller sections is often the key to combating that overwhelm. I posted some before and after photos of this entire closet a few days ago. Now I wanted to focus your attention to a few smaller spaces.
This is a built in shelf. As you can tell, it became unruly and overfull. There was just too much being asked of these shelves.
We came up with a temporary solution that included using baskets she already had as drawers. In my ideal world, the t-shirts and pants and shorts would also be in baskets or bins acting as drawers.
However, it is not my home and my goal is for each client to feel most comfortable in their space. Being able to see all these clothes was a massive help so adding bins at this stage felt like more than what this client wanted to do.
