Can I hire you to work with my adult daughter/mom/friend?
How thoughtful of you to want peace and freedom for someone you love! You are more than welcome to recommend my services, send them to the website. When they are ready they can reach out to me so we can discuss their goals. While you may be ready for their space to be less chaotic, they might not be and until they are ready, it won’t be helpful.

Do you work with clients outside of the CSRA?
I do work with clients outside of the CRSA and surrounding areas. If you are two or more hours away from the Augusta, GA area, reach out and we can talk about what it looks like to have me come work with you as an out of town client as it does look a little different than being a local client.
-
I have ADD/ADHD. Can you help me?
Yes.
The above answer is for my ADD/ADHD friends (I see you) but if you want a tiny bit more, here it goes. I am constantly learning and am in awe of the gift of ADD/ADHD. I would love to help you work through some tough spots in your home from start to finish.
-
Will you run away scared from my house?
Absolutely not. I can see past the chaos to the finished product and do so with delight! I have worked with people in all stages of clutter and am happy to walk with you in your consultation to make sure I am the best person to help you find peace and freedom in your home.
-
Will you declutter and organize while I'm away from the home?
No. I only work side-by-side with clients for two main reasons. One, I don't know what you value if you aren't there to tell me. Two, I can't help you create maintenance systems if you aren't there to fill me in. (For more see "maintain" FAQ)

Can you help me maintain what we declutter and organize?
Yes. While we work together side-by-side to figure out what stays in your home and where it will live, I will also help you to come up with systems in order to maintain the order we create. Remember, you live in your home so there will be a level of things to be picked up but with systems in place, it will be easy to maintain.
-
I have children. Should I get childcare?
Probably. If your children need supervision or attention or will in some way keep your attention from your session, yes, you should get childcare. This will allow you to keep your mind on the work we are doing, making the most of your session, reaping all the possible benefits.

How long will it take to declutter and organize my house?
While Netflix shows and Pinterest posts make decluttering and organizing look like all it takes is a magic wand, there is thought and work that goes into the process. Each home is different and each person is different so in your consultation I will be able to give an estimate on how long your spaces may take you to declutter.
-
When is a good time to start?
The best time to start decluttering and organizing is when you are ready. Another time to consider would be a move. In that case, the best time to start is as soon as you know you might want to move. While I do not provide packing/moving services, it is best to declutter ahead of a move and that is what I do best.
-
Do you work with children and teenagers?
Children and teenagers are some of my favorite people to work with. Being able to help them cultivate the practice of being intentional about what they have in their spaces is priceless. Teaching this skill as early as possible is a wonderful gift to you and your children. However, children can usually only last 1-2 hours unless they just really like to organize and are a little older (high school usually).

My husband thinks we are going to throw his things away. Are we?
Your husband can rest at ease. Unless he asks me to work with him with his things, we won’t get rid of his things. The same goes with your children. Whoever I’m working with gets to decide what happens with their things. The exception here is small children who might benefit from someone else (mom/caregiver) letting go of some of their things (ex: outgrown clothes and toys).
-
Should I buy organizational products before we start?
Hold off on buying organizational products for now. We can’t know how to organize before we know what we are organizing. We will declutter first and then we can talk about organizational products.

I received a gift card for a consultation. What can I expect?
Congratulations on your free consultation! Consultations are a necessary part of the decluttering and organizing process and, therefore, are not stand alone meetings. In order to get the most of your consultation, you will want to schedule sessions to work through the plan made as a result of the consultation.
